Hastelloy C-2000 is a new type of NI-CR-MO alloy. It is based on C4 alloy and has an increased chromium content and copper added, which greatly improves the alloy’s corrosion resistance to oxidizing and reducing media. It is currently the best alloy in this series for H2SO4 corrosion resistance, but its intergranular corrosion resistance is not as good as C4.
